Chevron reaffirms 2017 target on oil, gas output

Petrobangla adds 45mmcfd gas to grid this month
Petrobangla, the state-run Oil, Gas and Mineral Resources Corporation, is set to add 45 million cubic feet of natural gas to the national grid from Titas and Srikail fields by March, officials said.

A parliamentary body on February 27 recommended that the power, energy and mineral resources ministry resume giving gas connection to households on a limited scale.

Prime Minister inaugurates Sundalpur gas field
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina inaugurated the Sundalpur gas field in Noakhali on January 8.
