The government of Sheikh Hasina led Grand Alliance on the evening of 12th achievement for touching the milestone in power generation capacity of 10,000-megawatt with a grand and cheerful jubilation. Bangladesh starts getting 422 MW of electricity from India
The state-run Power Grid Company of Bangladesh (PGCB) has started importing 422MW of power from Indian grid since 3 December, Tuesday morning.
On the day, Indian public sector power authority NTPC Vidyut Vyapar Nigam supplied 175MW of power and its private sector authority PTC India Limited supplied 247MW of power, officials said.
