Chevron Bangladesh recently awarded scholarships at separate events in Habiganj, Sylhet and Moulavibazar as a part of its ongoing yearly scholarship distribution program for financially disadvantaged, meritorious students. Oil from the tank-wagons that sank in a canal at Boalkhali in Chittagong has spread to the Karnaphuli River, threatening more environmental damage. Chevron Bangladesh kicked off its blood donation drives for 2015 on June 8th to mark World Blood Donor Day.
