Bangladesh loses about $6.5 billion due to pollution and environmental degradation in urban areas every year, according to a World Bank report. A 5.3 magnitude earthquake shook the capital and other parts of the country on Wednesday. Lightning strikes from freak storms during the monsoon season have left 19 people dead in eight districts of Bangladesh.
