A record amount of solar power was generated on Friday as Britain basked in sunshine and temperatures of up to 28C, the National Grid has said. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has opened Bangladesh’s first multi-storey, solar-powered silo in Bogra. The Asian Development Bank (ADB) signed yesterday a new $109 million financing package for the Muara Laboh geothermal power generation project in western Indonesia.
