For the first time electricity generation has crossed 9000 MW mark. Thursday evening electricity generation was 9036 MW. This is the highest generation. Another coal-based Power Plant with a capacity of 320 MW is going to be installed in the Island of Maheshkhali of Cox’sbazaar.
