Senior Secretary of the power division suggested being watchful against any rumour saying ‘there will be a 48 hours nationwide blackout and awkward things may happen in that time’. He urged the mass to pay no heed on such rumours.
Dr Ahmad Kaikaus, the senior secretary of the power division claimed in a press release that a self-seeking group is spreading the false claims of nationwide blackout which is nothing but a rumour. The country fulfilled the power demand by generating 11 thousand and 640 MW on Tuesday evening and there was no load-shedding in the country. Power generation will also remain sufficient on today and the following days to come, he claimed. The country has been facing nearly no problems meeting the nation’s power demand despite having floods in several areas of the country and the condition are expected to remain that good. Therefore, he urged the mass to stay vigilant against any such rumour.
